Manchester Village IBA approves senior housing plan in town
The Manchester Village IBA granted a conditional permit for a 24 unit senior housing complex and community center with new access to Route 7 after residents opposed Leland Drive. A civil suit over Leland Drive could delay HUD funded project, while town and village officials support the plan and tax benefits. Construction is expected in six months with rents around 300 dollars monthly and HUD subsidies following income-based rents.
