Worms and Chlorine Spark Arlington Water Rate Debate
Nine households reported worms or a worm in their water at times and eleven now haul drinking water. Five boil water before drinking while others dislike the chlorine taste and occasional color. Reports describe emotional reactions and health concerns, with some water not tested officially by health authorities. The UVM lab notes harmless organisms but warns against using such supplies.
