Community Center Aids Child Development in Manchester
Manchester Welfare and Nursing Association sponsors the Community Center now in its second summer. Since October 1964 the center has operated from Zion Episcopal Church and moved to Bonnet Street last summer. Pre school classes run weekdays 9 to 11 with summer closing at noon. Staff include Mrs. W B Hough and Mrs. Jo Ann Johnson. Activities span cooking music and other programs with volunteers. A ski program was held last winter at Bromley. The association is run by a board of trustees led by President Robert C Brewster.
