Vacation homes filled with happy visitors as sunny weather brought skiers and travelers. At a Londonderry dinner, Peru and Londonderry Congregational churches honored Rev Richard Stanley Pryce his wife and daughter Joan as they prepare to move to Stowe to pastor the Community Church starting March 1. Pryce ordained April 23 1967 after coming from Hartford Theological Seminary in July 1965. VFW Secures New Home in Hoosick Falls
The VFW has acquired the former Parsons Street School on Clay Hill in First Ward as a gift from Nancy Shoe Company. The deed was transferred to Post Commander George M. Driscoll and Post Adj. Theodore Anderson through Atty. John S. Davison. Volunteers will restore the four room building for headquarters with formal dedication possible this fall.
