Vermont planner Leonard A. Wilson, former Bennington resident and director of central planning, outlined a master plan last night calling Bennington a bedroom town for the Albany Troy Schenectady region. About 100 residents attended and Wilson asked if Bennington is prepared for this possibility.

A bi partisan group named the New York Committee for Fair Reapportionment planned to sue in federal court to challenge New York’s new legislative redistricting.
