Park Commission Statement To Selectmen on Town Farm Land
The Park Commission objects to a special town meeting on Town Farm park use. It cites prior approvals from 1966 to 1968, voter actions in 1968, and Planning Commission support for park use, arguing changes would ignore long term plans and past authorizations. It outlines past site searches, rejected landfill plans, and a 25 year vision for one large regional park, two medium parks, and six small neighborhood parks.
