Viet Cong launched the heaviest Saigon shelling in nine days with 122mm and 107mm rockets striking residential areas. Six killed including three refugee children and 20 wounded. A Viet Cong battalion including women in uniform seized Bao Luc village briefly north of Saigon, while bands guarding a bridge on highway 20 caused casualties. U.S. B52 strikes continued on targets north of the capital and in North Vietnam.
