Bennington Planetarium Project Expands Ambitions
Bennington eyes a $111000 six room planetarium complex with future observatory and weather facilities. The project draws in the Weather Bureau, Ford Foundation hopes, and support from the Greater Bennington School District, Lions Club, PTA groups, and Holy Name Society as federal funds and state aid options are explored to fund classrooms, labs, and an observatory.
