Pine Road Seeks Sewer Extension and Town Actions
Bennington selectmen turned a Pine Road sewer extension request over to the town Sewer and Water Commission after voters approved a $9,000 sinking fund for extensions. The commission will review such requests first, with a June 24 meeting scheduled. The board also addressed flooding easements, a potential flood control project, road status questions, street light needs, and traffic signs. Additionally, Steven Monroe Gates of Bennington earned a J.D. at Albany Law School and will join a Albany firm, specializing in labor and management representation.
