School boards set cross-state high school designations
BRSU notes Sunderland directors met in executive session to discuss a negligence suit filed in Bennington Superior Court. No new developments in the $5 million suit. Rupert and Pawlet will use New York high schools as official secondary schools this fall. Rupert voters designate Salem. Pawlet voters designate Granville. Action, allowed under this year’s Vermont bill, reduces tuition for state approved Vermont secondary schools like Burr and Burton Seminary. Officials say impact on BBS will be minimal.
