Propane Gas Truck Fire Rolls Through Manchester Area
A Wilcox Fuels delivery tank truck burned Thursday afternoon in Manchester causing bursts of propane flames that shot up to 60 feet above Franklin Avenue. Fire Chief Lyn ford W. Bourn said the spill from the gasoline line tank onto the exhaust overheated the system while spectators fled. No injuries were reported.

In Montpelier, the five member state Building Board took no action on a request to restudy the Pavilion Hotel site for a new state office building due to funds. Allied Forces Ready To Meet Any New Red Offensive
