Counting the Ways review in London National Theatre
Edward Albee's Counting the Ways opens at the National Theatre with two actors in a surreal vaudeville like sequence. The one hour piece centers on middle aged love in a sparse abstract format, featuring a Brechtian aside where an actress identifies herself to the audience. The rest of the play offers mild laughs but little substance before a New York production.
