Missing North Adams men found at Andrews AFB
Two North Adams men Ronald Chartrand and Donald Gurney, both in their late thirties, were reported missing after their airplane failed to land in Richmond Virginia. They were en route to Florida for a winter vacation and said a blizzard forced a forced landing. They were located Wednesday morning at Andrews Air Force Base near Washington, DC. Chartrand blamed the incident on a heavy Virginia snowstorm and said he notified the air force of the change, but the Richmond air part was not informed.
