Boston Patriots star fullback Larry Garron received good news from doctors confirming his hip injury from the AFL All-Star game will not require surgery. He expects full recovery and peak form by training camp after a rehab period in St Elizabeth's Hospital. Garron noted the dislocation should heal without long-term issues. He also commented on the New Orleans walkout by Negro players, saying fear motivated their exit and recounting rival tales from the event.
