Johnson State prof named executive of Vermont humanities council
Victor R. Swenson of Johnson has been named executive director of the Vermont Council on the Humanities and Public Issues, assuming duties Jan. 1 in Hyde Park. The council, funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, plans projects statewide, with a next meeting Jan. 15 in Montpelier to elect two new members and consider grant proposals.
