Stafford seeks to retain GOP control as he seeks the Senate seat in a three way contest and Mallary aims to win the House in a four way battle. Turnout expected low with fewer than 70 000 of 240 000 registered voters casting ballots amid a Friday election.

Anonymous letters claimed nine banks in New York, San Francisco, and Chicago housed “slow burning powder” bombs.
