Vermont health careers plan eyed by VRCCC
Montpelier Vermont Regional Community College Commission plans a low cost health education program. A four month study by Louise Gerstenblatt and staff found strong interest in credit transfer, program accreditation, on the job training, and a core curriculum with specialized components across allied health fields. A state advisory council is evaluating curricula, with wide representation from University of Vermont units, nursing groups, Planned Parenthood Vermont, hospital and health education leaders, and regional health bodies.
