City councilmen meet again in Mill Valley to decide who pays 70,000 to clear 1600 cubic yards of mud and rocks that slid across Miller Avenue in February 1969. The city claims no responsibility since the slide occurred in Marin County, outside city limits, while Marin County seeks landowner responsibility. The land was owned by Thomas Collison, who lives in Granada, Spain, and has since sold to his daughter Melinda Rowe Beddoe, who lives in Berkshire, England.
