Snow Valley Weekend Lets Roxbury Scouts Ski on a Shoestring
Snow Valley hosts 14 youths and 6 advisers from Roxbury and Needham for a thrifty scout ski weekend. Troop 9 leader Leo Casey notes the trip shows how a tight budget supports outdoor activity with meals, lodging on the floor, and shared planning. The 12-dollar per scout cost covers meals and equipment planning, while adult coordination includes car hires and insurance.
