Bus System Nears Demise In Bennington Region

Bennington Regional Transit Inc. faces possible end of service by month’s end due to rising costs and low ridership. A plan to reduce coverage in Bennington Pownal and Shaftsbury drew strong support, but decision awaits Thursday.
