HOOSICK FALLS N Y A young man in a heavy parka with a nylon stocking pulled over his face robbed the Bunker Hill Country Store on High Street of about 125 dollars Monday afternoon while holding the clerk at gunpoint. Police arrested three men from Hoosick Falls Bennington and Pownal Vt later at 65 High Street. They were charged with first degree robbery and held at the Rensselaer County Jail pending a preliminary hearing. The clerk Jeffrey Loomis 23 said he was scared and did not identify the ringleader. The suspects had prior burglary convictions and two men not in the holdup allegedly helped plan the caper. Police were aided by state police.
