St Michael's College Plans Major Expansion in Winooski
St Michael's College in Winooski announces immediate plans for a new classroom building on campus to house faculty offices and classrooms. The project, to begin next fall, will raze the existing library and Aquinas Hall and add about 20,000 square feet of office space plus facilities for WSSE and a TV studio. An arts center near Durick Library is also planned, with a larger parking area and better Route 15 access. Enrollment is expected to rise to 1,597 by 1971-72.
