Nottingham Park Subdivision Earns Manchester Permit

In Arlington, John H. Andrus and John C. Hughes of Pawlet apply for a permit to create 16 single residence lots in a rural residential area known as Nottingham Park adjoining Barnumville Road about 2.5 miles from Manchester Depot. Ten lots in the original subdivision sold before Act 250 took effect in July 1970. Roads on the property may become town roads and likely be paved with a grade not exceeding 10 percent, as Manchester’s selectmen expect to eventually assume them and enforce strict highway ordinances to avoid future issues.
