The Hoosick Falls Central School music department hosts its annual Christmas concert Sunday at 2 p.m. in the school auditorium. The Junior Chorus and Senior Band under directors Eloise Canzeri and H Luther Everly perform a varied program with soloists, past graduates, and a Senior Band finale. Christmas Carols Bring Joy to Patients and License Offers
Nineteen members of Junior Girl Scout Troop 26 sang for patients at Putnam Memorial Hospital Monday evening, with transport by Mrs. William Towne and others. Upon return at the Community House cookies and hot chocolate were served. A Santa visit followed their December meeting, with no meetings until January 6. A later holiday event featured games and a Santa visit with candy. Also noted: Vermont 1971 hunting, fishing, and combination licenses available as gifts, with fees and a senior rate for residents over 70.
