Severson seeks delay of consolidation vote
Hoosick Falls mayor Richard A. Severson says there is not enough time before January 15 for residents to study the proposed village town consolidation. He will not push a motion for a special vote before April 1 and favors separating it from the March village elections to keep politics out of the decision. He notes the issue concerns all residents who pay taxes or rent.
