Cannon Mountain preps top trails amid improving snow in New Hampshire
Franconia New Hampshire Cannon Mountain manager Bill Norton says up to 20 inches of virgin snow on the upper mountain will allow a weekend opening of the entire area. He kept the summit closed after last Thanksgiving’s storm and plans a manicured opening to attract season-ticket holders amid a thaw and rain that slowed other New England operators. Norton notes demand from ticket holders as crowds press for top trails.
