Dorset pony Peanuts moves to new Vermont family
The long roaming Dorset brown pony Peanuts, beloved by many families since 1947, leaves Manchester for Underhill Vermont with the Hitchcocks and their five daughters. He resumes riding duties for Trudy Fowler’s cousins and, true to his nature, will be passed along rather than sold, as memories of his stairway ascent linger.
