Cost of Living Increases Hit HFCS Bid Bids

Hoosick Falls Central School Board met Tuesday night to accept bids for milk ice cream bread and fuel oil with increases across categories except substitute teacher pay which remains 26 per day. Millbrook Interstate won bread and 144000 rolls while Borden's bid milk and Agway failed to bid on ice cream. Oil contracts follow state and local arrangements with price uncertainty and budget impacts from Nixon era aid.
