Bombs kill one, injure four in midtown New York
A string of bombings struck midtown Manhattan and caused evacuations at several buildings including World Trade Center. One person died at Mobil Oil and four others were injured, two seriously. A Puerto Rican group claimed responsibility and threats prompted police to search offices at 245 and 410 Park Avenue and the Defense and Mobil Oil sites.
