Land Bridge Across Asia Continent to Continent
University of Connecticut anthropologist William Laughlin argues the Bering Land Bridge was a vast continent like corridor over 1,000 miles long linking Asia and North America. He says ancient peoples moved outward generation to generation, not as a sudden migration, with Aleutians and Eskimos sharing closer ties to coastal Asians. The view is supported by 133,800 dollar NSF funding and co researchers Robert F. Black and Jean Algner.
