Conferees Accept Senate Track Plan Amendments
In Montpelier UPI reports a conference committee voted 4 to 2 to accept Senate amendments on a Sunday racing bill. The plan lets Green Mountain Race Track keep 12.5 percent of pari mutuel handle on seven days, with 6.5 percent to the state from Sunday racing. Pownal may hold a referendum after the 1969 season.
