100 FHA Low Rent Apartments Sought at Rockwood Mill Site
Daniel J. Healy of the FHA in Burlington says a preliminary application from Glen Allen and Associates of Amherst for a 100 apartment low income project on East Main Street the former Rockwood Mills site in Bennington has been received through Catamount Bank. If approved rents would range 11250 for 1 bedroom 129 for 2 bedrooms and 146 for 3 bedrooms with utilities included. The project would use private financing insured by FHA and rent subsidies could lower tenants’ payments to a 25 percent of income.

Davis Signs Con Con Bill in Montpelier
