Interior door closers types and features in home use
Two types of screen light interior door closers are described pneumatic and liquid. Pneumatic closers are cheaper while liquid closers cost more but offer greater closing power and durability. Only liquid types are strong enough for interior doors. Standard door closers are usually liquid with an arm hinged to the middle. One end attaches to the frame above the door and the other end attaches to a drive shaft inside the closer mounted on the door.
