Shaftsbury school officials expect a tax decrease for the 1971 72 year due to anticipated increased state aid and a possible $17 000 rebate. If the rebate occurs it would be kept as surplus rather than distributed to taxpayers. The board met Monday with routine matters and explored a ski program for next year amid parental support.
