Fictitious Group Bill Bogs Down in Senate
In Montpelier Senator Allen B Angney reported favorably on a banking and insurance bill banning sales of policies to fictitious groups but the measure stalled as senators debated the definition of fictitious groups and the bill’s purpose. Angney then moved to lay the bill over for further committee consideration. Senator Daniel B Ruggles joined Angney in the discussion.
