The Soil Conservation Authority appoints a Landholder representation for the Lower Goulburn Souh district. Landholders in Violet Town and surrounding shires will elect one representative for the Melbourne Albury railway side and parishes Pine Lodge Clareawa and Dookie. Meetings set at Battle Mall Goorambat at 10 pm on 17 November 1980 and Benalla Mall at 4 pm on 17 November 1980 to select landholders south of the Melbourne Albury line.
