Washington October 2 The condition of President Wilson is not good at all, according to Admiral Grayson’s bulletin. Dr Dercum of the University of Pennsylvania, a leading nerve specialist, has been summoned to the White House for consultation. Grayson says there is no cause for alarm.
Etta Barlow of Ollie Barlow sues in Lawrence Circuit Court alleging cruel treatment. The filing names Jworge as the respondent and seeks relief as defined by the court. Case details reflect a civil action for alleged abuse or mistreatment.

Virgil Dobbs of Bloomington Indiana was arrested on a desertion charge after military authorities reported him in Indianapolis. He and Ruth Thompson of Bloomington were married in Bedford on Sept 18 after know ing each other a few days. Dobbs allegedly deserted a Norfolk Virginia camp in early September. The couple wed Sept 22 in Bedford.
The second game in the World Series at Cincinnati ended 4 to 2 in favor of the Reds. Chicago, with Williams and Schalk catching, failed to score in several innings while Cincinnati plated three in the fourth and added one in the sixth and two in the ninth. Sallee and Rariden pitched for Cincinnati with Evans, Quigler, Nallin, and Rigler umpiring.
Mrs. Dye hosted a Thursday announcement party at the Dye home on N Street as blue birds and pink dahlias decorated the rooms. A Monon boxcar loaded with lime was placed on the Murdock switch Wednesday evening, then burned by a fire that destroyed the car by Thursday morning. Fred Bowen, who resigned as a special officer of the Monon, has reconsidered after inducements to stay and remains with the Monon. He is moving his family to 813 North I Street today. The Bloominton Methodist church, led by Superintendent Will Wylie, plans a mission church in South Bloomington with Rev. A. E. B. Aldrich to be located there. Population growth from McDoel and a new kitchen cabinet factory supports the church need. R. Boone Leonard, former clerk of court at Bedford, sold his Leonard home farm near Owensburg to D. A. Allen of Colorado. Mr. Allen will move to the farm. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kirby, Dwight Reed, and Mrs. John McCart, who visited Linton to see Richard McCart, have returned home.
Local farmers near Corydon expressed relief after Bedford Bloodhounds aided tracking efforts. The team assisted in locating missing cattle and secured the area, easing farmer concerns and restoring routine farm operations.
Farmers pooled resources and hired Bedford bloodhounds after wheat theft near Corydon. Charles Ellicott reported four bushels missing on Tuesday night.
