Parmer Kerr filed a habeas corpus suit in Lawrence circuit court seeking possession of his children Elizabeth and Griffith Kerr who are alleged to be restrained by defendants William S. Holcombe Izabeth R. Holcombe. Judge Swails ordered the children brought into court June 3 to address custody. The Holcombes, grandparents, have contended for custody.
