Miss Mildred B Miller daughter of Mr and Mrs P C Miller of Conway married Virgil W Ferry of Kirkman Iowa at the Dunkerton Iowa home of Mrs Adell Dunkerton Rev A E Popp officiated with Greta McIntosh playing the wedding march. Afterward Mr and Mrs Ferry will reside at Kirkman. The Conway band gave an open air concert at the county home. Various local residents attended graduations and visited Conway families during the week including Ada Wadleigh Robert Rosebrough and Florence Lincoln among others.

Alumni Banquet Highlights Local Event and Notables
The Alumni association held its annual banquet at the Methodist church on Saturday evening May 25 with seventy five attendees. A two course dinner and program were featured the night includes a toast titled A Ranch. Local guests visited relatives and friends in Maryville and Bedford areas including Custer Litteer Barrans and many others. Litteer is reported recovering well after a recent limb amputation.
