The Athelstan Sunday School invites all to a picnic on Sunday June 20 after services in the little park. Sunday School starts at 10 a.m. with District Superintendent Rev Chas Gray to preach at 8 p.m. Also notes a birthday party for Leona Mac Burns.

Mrs Minnie Shimer hosted the W C T U at her home with fourteen attending. The program included worship led by Mrs Margaret Moser and a lesson by Mrs Spencer Peck. The Happy Hour Club met with sixteen members and two guests, with contests and Mystery Pal gifts. Several local families were noted as guests at various Sunday visits, travels, and weekend gatherings in Sharpsburg and nearby towns.
