One Woman Keeps Clover Hill Church Alive
In Flemingsburg Kentucky Miss Ollie Spencer runs Clover Hill Methodist Church as sole congregant and steward. She funds the pastor’s salary and missions, tends the building, and praises her faith as the source of her frugal, self sufficient life. The aging 1856 church relies on her devotion while Rev Oldaker visits biweekly and sometimes conducts services at her home.

Can't Open the Door to Church Training for Children
A church urges parents to bring children to worship and participate in classes and activities each Sunday. It argues that parental involvement shapes a child's values and love for the church, stating church life should not be a burden but a shared family duty.
