Celebrate Bandera Weekend Brings Cowboys, Poles, and Camels
A Bandera Texas celebration marks its 150th founding anniversary with a lively parade featuring pony express riders, Longhorns, buffalo Bill inspired outfits, and guests from Bandera’s sister city in Poland. Riders, wagons, and even camels fill the streets while balloons are shot from horseback in a timed event. A Baytown couple competes, a girl impresses in riding and shooting, and a mountain lion cry from the porch caps the weekend.
