Baytown Firemen cited for halting chemical truck blaze
On Interstate 10 near Cedar Bayou bridge Baytown firefighters smothered a diesel truck fire within 45 minutes after a tank trailer carrying highly explosive chemicals ruptured. Traxler Funeral Services Set For Saturday Morning
John G. Traxler 48 of 226 Lakeweed Drive will be laid to rest at St Mark's Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Harry Holmes and Rev. Roger Armistead officiating. He served on St Mark's board of Stewards and finance committee, and was a Humble Empires Credit Union director and active in the United Fund.
