Teachers and Teaching Across My Life
The author reflects on teachers from childhood through adulthood, recalling Miss Howell in Ellwood City, Miss Olney Burit in Stuart, and Spanish teacher Mr. Herbert Burrows in Tucson. He notes lessons learned, discipline methods of the era, and how mentors shaped his career, before recalling early work experience in 1948 and mentioning David Gergen as a familiar name.
