Henry Adair a Baytown native and SHSU alum honored
Henry Adair, a self made Baytown native and Lee High School graduate, earned a SHSU degree, taught briefly, and built a long oil industry career. Now a Mont Belvieu resident, he cheers Barbers Hill and received a SHSU service plaque in a tribute with family and friends present. He rose from a water scarce Baytown home to become a Bearkat starter and later host annual reunions with 1961 championship teammates.
