Drowned Toddlers Among Texas Flood Casualties
Searchers recovered the bodies of two Corsicana toddlers, Patrick Stewart Jr. and Brook Stewart, as floodwaters claimed five lives across Texas after weekend storms. A 33 year old Corsicana man Ramiro Tito Salinas Garza drowned after a car was swept away on an I 45 service road. In Fort Worth a woman and her 2 1 2 year old son died as floodwaters blocked roads. Authorities planned further searches if waters receded. Storms dropped heavy rain and hail across the state with watches in effect while rainfall totals topped several inches in multiple cities.
