Students arrested as walkouts continue across Texas
Dozens of Houston students were arrested or cited and Reagan High School principal Robert Pambello was disciplined for raising a Mexican flag. Across Texas students walked out of class to protest immigration legislation, with actions at Lamar High in Houston and campuses in Austin El Paso and Dallas suburbs. Police cited 67 students for curfew violations and 26 were arrested at Madison High School. more than 1,200 students faced suspensions or transfers for the week.

Woman Arrested After Knife Threat at Village Lane
At about 10 a.m. Wednesday a 42-year-old woman argued with a 68-year-old neighbor at Village Lane Apartments and pulled a butcher knife after claiming a black magic spell. She was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. In a separate incident, an officer cited a man for assault after a 8:30 p.m. report in the 500 block of West Main.
