Spring Woods tops Lee 2-1 to end Ganders season
Spring Woods rallied with two goals in the final 12 minutes to defeat Lee 2-1, denying the Ganders a first playoff win. Lee led 1-0 after J.J. Mata assisted Eddie Jaimer for an early strike, but Spring Woods answered with goals in the 68th and 77th minutes to clinch the bi district victory.

The 19th annual Tees-N-Tails golf tournament is planned for April 1 at Newport Golf Club in Crosby. The Lee Ganders moved to 3-1 in District 19-4A with an 11-1 victory over North Forest. Emmanuel Torres earned the win with five innings pitched, one run allowed on two hits and eight strikeouts, while going 2-3 with a double and two RBIs at the plate. Deion Miller added two RBIs, Christian Valverde scored twice, Hunter Waldie plated one RBI with two runs, and Michael Gomez had an RBI and two runs. The Ganders will travel next.
