Former Baytonian To Manage Gibson's Discount Center Groundbreaking
Ground was broken Thursday for Gibson's Discount Center at 1600 block of Alexander Drive near Ward intersection. Carl W. McAfee, a Baytown native, will manage and serve as general manager for the Baytown Gibson's franchise owned by Gibson Products Co. Inc. The store, a full line with health, housewares, and more, is set to open by mid summer after construction on about 8.5 acres.
