Regents Name Director of New LC Nursing Program
The Lee College Board of Regents approved naming Mrs. Larry Maher director of LC's new nursing program and budget amendments to fund the two year program. The first class is planned for late August with 24 students, linking classroom study at LC to clinical training at Baytown area hospitals. At Easter time I recall ministers in Baytown, especially Terry Wilson who tended Cedar Bayou Methodist during its centennial. Rev Wilson died and was buried at Cedar Bayou Methodist. A colleague noted he "fought his way into heaves," a vivid tribute to his spirit.
